Abstract
A still of my trajets-series has been published in the current issue of the Swiss Abstract-magazine which was curated by Ruedi Baur. The issue is titled “Le lointain n’existe plus” and deals with the shrinking world in its many facets.
While I’m very happy about the image having been printed, I’m less happy about the bad conduct of business that went along with it. Actually we were asked to make a magazine (for free of course) which they would then produce in small numbers and exhibit in the magazine’s own gallery. I made a 36-page magazine and provided them with the files but as soon as they had got it, there was silence. It’s ok to reject something but it’s not ok to take the data and then pretend as if that never had been part of the call, even upon direct inquiry. I stop ranting here. As I said, I’m happy to see part of the series published.
